Very few truly understand POTUS Trump, over the years he protects those who have worked for him, especially those in public offices. One negative remarks from Trump about a former staff or employee, those who don't understand/know POTUS Trump will call him an ungrateful bastard. He slings the first bucket of mud, but notice, the former aid, staff or employee does not, he does this to redirect attention away from them. A very good example of this is Steve Bannon, and Peter Navarro, Trump deployed a negative narrative, shifting eyes away, but when the two were dragged through the mud by J6 kangaroo committee, PDJT didn't rush to their aid. But, POTUS Trump did afterwords. Look where Navarro is, and notice, Trump did not continue with the negative remarks toward Bannon. He has done this many times, but many of them didn't bother with counter attacking POTUS Trump, they just went on about their business. I expect he will deploy the same tactics with Elon, and we all get to watch the MSM shit-show that will soon follow. Watch!
